Description

This activity is supported by an independent education grant from Genmab. This online education program has been designed solely for healthcare professionals in the USA. The information in this program is not suitable for any other country.

Join leading expert Dr. Kirollos Hanna for this accredited virtual workshop. This operational workshop centers on multidisciplinary care coordination, role allocation, and workflow optimization required to build a sustainable "bispecific-ready" practice. Participants will analyze institutional readiness assessments, explore electronic medical record (EMR) clinical decision support tools (order sets and best practice advisories), establish community-to-hospital emergency escalation pathways, and define specific team responsibilities across nursing, pharmacy, emergency medicine, and oncology to support long-term delivery of bispecific antibodies in community practice.

This workshop is part of a series. Register for workshops 1, 2 and 3 below:

Workshop 1 - Selecting the Right Patient at the Right Time

Workshop 2 - From Prescription to First Dose

Workshop 3 - Managing CRS, ICANS, and Infectious Complications

Session Highlights

  • Conduct practice readiness evaluations to identify infrastructure, pharmacy, nursing, and clinical workflow gaps prior to program launch.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities across the multidisciplinary care team (oncologists, APPs, infusion nurses, pharmacists, ED/inpatient clinicians).
  • Integrate clinical decision support tools into electronic medical records, including standardized order sets for step-up dosing and toxicity management.
  • Establish formal community-hospital communication pathways and after-hours escalation protocols for urgent patient transfers and emergency admissions.
