About the Speaker:

Prof. Arun Sanyal, M.D. is a world-renowned hepatologist and Professor of Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University. With over 25 years of experience, he leads national and international efforts in liver disease research, including the NIH NASH Clinical Research Network and the NIMBLE consortium. Dr. Sanyal has authored more than 350 publications and played a pivotal role in shaping global practice guidelines for liver disease. His research continues to be supported by the NIH since 1995, and he is a past president of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
