Dr. Riaz provides practical guidance on how to evaluate patients for suitability for presbyopia-correcting IOLs by integrating anatomical diagnostics with lifestyle and visual preferences. He demonstrates how to align clinical indicators with individualized goals using structured assessment tools and case-based learning. Participants will gain confidence in matching lens options to real-world patient profiles and streamlining the decision-making process.

Session Highlights

  • Match IOL to patient goals: Learn how to identify key clinical factors—such as ocular surface disease, corneal astigmatism, and higher-order aberrations—while incorporating lifestyle demands, occupational needs, and patient motivation into personalized IOL selection.
  • Apply structured assessments: Implement a step-by-step preoperative workflow that combines diagnostic data with patient input to improve IOL candidacy evaluation.
  • Bridge anatomy and preference: Use real-world case examples to connect objective ocular findings with patient expectations, enhancing surgical outcomes and satisfaction.
